The celebration, captured in photos and videos shared by cookbook author Jake Cohen, songwriter Benj Pasek, and comedian Alex Edelman, showcased the couple’s happiness. The fun-filled party featured a playful caption: “Some lonely Jews on Christmas getting lit,” and included other Jewish celebrities like comedian Judy Gold, Broadway star Adam Kantor, and Will & Grace alum Deborah Messing. Deborah added to the festivities with her signature storytelling style, amusing the crowd with a tale that left everyone laughing.

Benny Blanco was in high spirits throughout the event, even hitting the dance floor to perform the traditional Hava Nagila, adding even more energy to the celebration. This public outing was one of the couple’s first since their engagement announcement.

While the couple had known each other for years, they only started dating in July 2023. Benny recently revealed during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show that he didn’t even realize their first hangout was a date. “It was so crazy,” Benny said. “I didn’t even know it was a date. She was like, ‘Hey, you wanna hang out?’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, sure, let’s go.'”

Selena and Benny’s Hanukkah celebration was a beautiful start to their life together as an engaged couple, and fans are excited to see what’s next for them as they continue their journey toward marriage.
