New details have emerged in the legal battle involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, with one of his accusers publicly identified as Anna Kane, the ex-wife of NHL star Evander Kane. Combs, currently in jail awaiting trial on federal charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution—charges he has pleaded not guilty to—is facing over 100 sexual assault allegations from various individuals.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on December 6th, Anna, who divorced Evander Kane in 2021 after three years of marriage, has filed a lawsuit accusing Diddy and others of drugging and sexually assaulting her in a New York City recording studio back in 2003 when she was just 17 years old. Initially, Anna filed the suit under the pseudonym “Jane Doe” in December 2023, but the court has now ordered her to disclose her identity to continue with her case.
At 38 years old, Anna has chosen to reveal her name publicly and is determined to pursue justice. In a statement to TMZ through her attorney, Anna said, “I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager. The defendant’s demand to use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.”
Diddy, who has been denied bail three times since his arrest on September 16th, faces a wave of accusations from over 120 people, 25 of whom were minors at the time of the alleged incidents. The charges against the 53-year-old music mogul include sexual assault, violence, drug-facilitated sex, and the sexual abuse of minors, with one victim allegedly as young as 10 years old.
Tony Busby, the Texas-based attorney representing the accusers, stated that the lawsuits filed in multiple states accuse Diddy of acts ranging from rape to the exploitation of minors. In response, Diddy’s legal team has denied all allegations, with his attorney, Erica Wolf, telling E! News that the claims are “meritless” and part of a “reckless media circus.” Wolf further emphasized, “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” and looks forward to clearing his name in court based on evidence.
