Angelina Jolie has expressed her frustration with dishonesty in a recent interview, calling out “liars” following the official finalization of her divorce from Brad Pitt. In a candid conversation with W Magazine published on January 3rd, Jolie shared that her biggest pet peeve is when people fail to be truthful.
“My pet peeve is somebody who is a liar,” the Oscar-winning actress stated. “Somebody who feels the need to not say the truth or what they want, what they feel. There’s a big version of that, and I’m not trying to be heavy about it, but people who say one thing and mean another, who aren’t completely who they are.”
Jolie did not specify who her comments were directed at, but her remarks come shortly after the official end of her bitter divorce battle with Brad Pitt. The two were married for over a decade and share six children together. Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, and the finalization of the divorce was confirmed by her lawyer on December 30th.

The lawyer shared that Jolie has focused on finding peace and healing for her family, noting, “Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.” While the couple’s split had been ongoing for over eight years, their legal disputes included custody battles, property ownership, and accusations of abuse, which Pitt has denied.
Jolie’s comments about dishonesty underscore her desire for transparency and authenticity, as she moves forward from the years of legal battles and focuses on her family’s well-being.
