Mila Kunis gave an intriguing and noteworthy two-hour interview with Dax Shepard for his podcast Armchair Expert where she discussed the initial response to her starting to date Ashton Kutcher and also, before that, just how bad her breakup with Macaulay Culkin was. I was a dick and I accept it and I own it now, and it’s fucked up what I did and it’s fucked up how I did it.”

“And so when I got to be single I said, I just need to figure myself out,” she continued. “Like, I genuinely need to know why I did what I did and, like, regroup myself as a human. And so I just did that and subsequently after 6 p.m., was open for business. But I didn’t want to date. I didn’t want to be taken out to the movies. I just wanted to have time for myself.”

It was “super hard” for her to forgive herself initially. “You know it’s been so long, enough time has gone by that I think that enough mutual friends have been like everybody kind of forgave everybody for what went down.”
