Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her unique working relationship with her Enola Holmes co-star, Henry Cavill, describing it as one marked by “very strict boundaries.” The 20-year-old Stranger Things actress shared insights into the dynamic between herself and Cavill, who is 41, while discussing their time filming the Netflix sequel Enola Holmes 2.

In an interview with Deadline, Brown contrasted her friendship with Cavill to the close-knit bond she shares with her Stranger Things castmates, with whom she has essentially grown up on screen. Reflecting on the differences, she described how her relationships with Stranger Things co-stars Noah Schnapp and Charlie Heaton feel more like sibling relationships.

“It’s different because I grew up with Noah and Charlie. I met them when I was 10. So, for me, it does feel like your schoolmates,” Brown said. “With Henry, it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one.”

However, this adult friendship comes with certain limitations. According to Brown, Cavill has set clear boundaries around their interactions, particularly when it comes to discussing personal matters. “I know Henry. He has terms and conditions with me,” she continued. “I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. It’s like, ‘Millie, shut up. No.’ And I’m like, ‘Understood.’”

While this might seem strict, Brown expressed her appreciation for Cavill’s approach, noting the contrast to her bond with her Stranger Things castmates, where there are no such restrictions. “There’s no boundaries because it’s like we’re all siblings,” she explained. “But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.”
