Search Underway for Missing Passenger from Taylor Swift-Themed Cruise

A search operation is underway for a missing passenger from a Taylor Swift-themed cruise that departed from the Port of Miami on October 21st. The incident occurred on October 22nd, when a 66-year-old woman fell overboard while the Royal Caribbean ship, “Lure of the Seas,” was approximately 17 miles north of Nassau, Bahamas.

The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed the incident and has since joined forces with the Royal Bahama Defense Force (RBDF), which is leading the search efforts. Rescue crews from both organizations have been deployed, with aircraft and helicopters from Air Station Miami diverted to assist in the operation. Officials emphasized their commitment to locating the missing passenger and are currently conducting extensive searches in the area.

 

In a statement to E! News, a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said, “Our crew immediately launched a search and rescue effort and is working with local authorities. We are also providing support and assistance to the guest’s family during this difficult time. To respect their privacy, we have no additional details to share.”
