Ravens Beat Steelers, Patrick Mahomes Impresses, Concern for Eagles? | NFL

Live from New York, it’s the show that a fan of football can’t miss! This weekend, I had the pleasure of going caroling, and it was a blast! Have you ever been caroling? If not, mark your calendar for next year – it’s so much fun! We even had time for caroling and to catch the Patriots vs. Bills game. What a night it was!

Ravens Dominate Steelers

The Ravens came out with a vengeance, defeating the Steelers 34-17 in a decisive victory. Lamar Jackson was on fire, throwing three touchdowns, and Derrick Henry made his presence known with 162 rushing yards. The Ravens’ defense stepped up big time, allowing just two penalties for 10 yards – a remarkable performance that helped them hand the Steelers their worst loss of the season.

Brew, did you like what you saw from your Ravens? I would say yes! The Ravens are a tough team, and there’s no place like home when you’re facing off against the Steelers. Pittsburgh is always a challenge, but the Ravens finally put together a complete game when it mattered most. Lamar Jackson was terrific, Justin Tucker was as reliable as ever, and the defense was downright nasty. The Ravens were so inhospitable, they made the Steelers look like they were unwelcome guests!

What impressed me the most was that this was the first time this season the Ravens looked like the team we’ve been waiting for. This is a team that could make a serious playoff run, especially with Lamar and the defense clicking on all cylinders.

Patrick Mahomes Shines in Chiefs’ Win

Switching gears to the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes continues to prove why he’s one of the best in the game. In a 27-19 win over the Texans, Mahomes looked unstoppable, despite concerns about his ankle injury. He rushed for a touchdown and showed off his classic improvisation, running through defenders and making plays with ease. The Chiefs now sit at 14-1, with no signs of slowing down. Their defense is also coming together at the right time, with fewer than 20 points allowed in their last four games.

Despite a rocky start to the season, the Chiefs are peaking at the perfect moment. Mahomes’ performance is exactly what you’d expect from a seasoned champion, and with a defense that is improving, this team looks ready for a deep postseason run. The Chiefs have already proven they can beat the best, and now they’re playing their best football when it matters most.

Concern for the Eagles?

Now, let’s talk about the Eagles, who suffered a tough loss to the Commanders in a thrilling game. The Eagles had a 33-28 lead, but Jalen Hurts was unable to deliver the game-winning play, and the Commanders capitalized with a last-minute touchdown. This loss comes after the Eagles had won 10 straight, and it raises some concerns for their defense, which allowed several long, sustained touchdown drives.

While the Eagles are still in a strong position to make the playoffs, the loss to the Commanders exposed some weaknesses. Their defense, which had been stellar all season, was unable to stop Washington’s offense when it mattered most. And while Jalen Hurts remains a top-tier quarterback, this loss shows that the Eagles aren’t invincible.

It will be interesting to see how the Eagles respond in their final stretch of the season. They still have a great chance to make a deep playoff run, but they’ll need to address some defensive issues before the postseason begins.

Final Thoughts

As we look ahead, the Ravens’ performance was a big statement, proving they can compete with anyone in the AFC. The Chiefs continue to dominate, and Patrick Mahomes is doing Mahomes things, reminding us why he’s a future Hall of Famer. But the Eagles’ loss should be a wake-up call, as they’ll need to tighten up their defense if they want to make a serious Super Bowl run.

With the playoffs just around the corner, it’s clear the NFL is heating up, and anything can happen. Stay tuned for more thrilling action as we get closer to the postseason!
