Pamela Anderson has opened up about her strained relationship with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee. In a candid interview on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on January 9, Pamela, 57, revealed that she and Tommy, with whom she shares two sons, are currently not in the best of terms.
“We used to talk a lot more, not recently unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now,” Pamela shared. Despite their current distance, she expressed hope for reconciliation in the future, especially as their children, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, grow older. Pamela mentioned that they could even bond over future family milestones, such as becoming grandparents together. “We’re going to have grandkids together. It’ll be okay eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now,” she said.
Pamela and Tommy’s relationship has been rocky for years. The couple married in 1995 and divorced in 1998 after just three years. However, despite their differences, Pamela reflected on their past with a sense of affection. In her 2023 memoir, Love Pamela, she revealed that her relationship with Tommy may have been the only time she was “truly in love.”
Although their communication is minimal at the moment, Pamela emphasized that Tommy continues to be an active presence in their children’s lives, saying that they see their father regularly. Pamela also made it clear that her strained relationship with Tommy does not stem from any animosity toward his current wife, Brittany Furlan, whom she has expressed support for in the past.
Pamela’s comments shed light on the complexities of her relationship with Tommy, and while things may be difficult now, she remains hopeful for a better future as co-parents and family members.
