In recent years, the 75-year-old rock icon has faced significant challenges, including multiple surgeries and a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, which has limited his ability to perform live. Despite a long history of substance abuse, Ozzy had managed to maintain sobriety for a period. However, he admitted that he is currently not completely sober, stating, “I use a bit of marijuana from time to time.” He emphasized that while he feels better than during his years of heavy drug use, he is still navigating the complexities of addiction.

Ozzy reflected on his past experiences with drugs and the impact they had on his life. He revealed that he recently experimented with microdosing ketamine but quickly recognized it as a slippery slope, declaring, “One’s too many and ten’s never enough.” This phrase, commonly known among participants in Alcoholics Anonymous, underscores the challenges many face in maintaining sobriety.

Despite these struggles, Ozzy expressed gratitude for his supportive wife, Sharon, who plays a crucial role in keeping him on track. “My wife kicks my butt all the time,” he noted, sharing that she actively monitors his marijuana use and ensures he stays away from harder drugs.

Ozzy also delivered a powerful message for those battling addiction, reminding them that help is available and that people genuinely care. He shared how attending meetings helped him in the past and suggested he might consider going back. “If you are out there and you’re using dope and you want to get off, there is plenty of help,” he said.
