Woman Who Won Civil Rape Case Against Conor McGregor Seeks Restraining Order To Prevent Release of CCTV Video Footage

It has been months since Nikita Hand won her rape claim against Conor McGregor in High Court. But now, she is seeking help from a judge again to stop the Irish fighter from publishing the evidence CCTV video footage.

Back in November 2024, she won the case and received a pretty decent amount of money as compensation. However, after McGregor’s team decided to publicly release the evidence video footage to earn some sympathy and clear the Irish fighter’s image, Hand has now urged the court to send an injunction notice.

Notably, Conor McGregor’s barrister had previously claimed that Nikita Hand was involved in a ‘romantic entanglement’ with his client. However, the latter denied those claims and said,

“I don’t remember what we were doing or saying. It is very hard to watch…I see a very vulnerable woman, a drunk woman who did not know what she was doing, who should have been looked after, who should have been taken home in that state.”

Nikita Hand’s solicitor, David Coleman, previously claimed that the Irish fighter’s business associate and his Italian stout distributor, Gabriel Ernesto Rapisarda, wanted to release the video to boost the sales of their product. He later claimed that McGregor’s stout business was inversely hit after he lost the case against his client.

However, Rapisarda had claimed that Irish stout sales were almost ‘double’ in December. Also, if they were to release the footage online, it would immensely help Conor McGregor cleanse his image and rapidly increase stout sales. But it remains to be seen if the court allows the former UFC double champion to release the video publicly.
