A few months ago, Khabib discussed the long-anticipated fight with Ferguson. During an appearance on the Inspire Me Podcast, he said Ferguson’s only real chance to beat him would have been landing a lucky punch like people often suggest for his other opponents such as Conor, Poirier, and Gaethje. He emphasized that aside from that, he didn’t think anyone could have stopped him.
