Team Khabib Debunks Potential Conor McGregor vs. Jake Paul Bout – “That’s Going To Be A Bomb”

The rivalry between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor has etched its name into the history books. However, even after all these years, the fire still seems to be burning. In a recent interaction, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach, Javier Mendez, delved into the possibilities of Conor McGregor facing either Logan Paul or Jake Paul in a boxing match.

Opening on the topic, Mendez stated that a fight with Logan Paul would come out as boring. Instead, if McGregor can get to fight his brother Jake, it will be a better deal for the fight fans.

“That’s going to be a bomb. His brother hasn’t won a freaking boxing match. Give me a break … That [Conor vs. Jake] is the fight I’d rather watch,” said Mendez.

Now, having said that Mendez also agreed that both McGregor and Logan Paul are out-and-out entertainers. Thus, if a match does really happen, they have the capability to sell the fight. Meanwhile, the major reason for Mendez’s opinions originates from Conor McGregor’s recent X post.

Conor McGregor Drops Major Update On His Future

While the entire world was waiting for the Irishman to come back to the UFC, ‘The Notorious’ might have had other plans. In a surprising update, McGregor mentioned that he is in talks for an exhibition match against Logan Paul. According to McGregor’s X update, the bout, if it happens, is scheduled to take place in India.

“The rumors of a bout with Topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed, I will then seek my return to the Octagon,” McGregor stated. However, no further confirmation has been given from either McGregor or Logan Paul’s team. Thus, with the Irishman’s comeback still being a mystery, it remains to be seen what happens next.
