Jiri Prochazka Discusses Alex Pereira’s ‘Black Magic’ Ritual With Joe Rogan
Jiri Prochazka, Joe Rogan and, Alex Pereira
Jiri Prochazka and his black magic accusations are back. Ahead of his UFC 303 fight, Prochazka stated that he feels Alex Pereira uses shaman and black magic to win over his opponents. He also pointed out that Pereira’s alleged practices had a deep impact on his opponent psychologically. While Pereira seemingly did not need his shamans to knock Prochazka out, the discussions are back once again courtesy Joe Rogan.
Jiri Prochazka sat down on episode 165 of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ with the UFC color commentator. However, while he doubled down on his beliefs, Rogan also made an interesting point. The UFC color commentator opined that fighters during their prime ooze an aura that can be mistaken as ‘black magic.’ And the Czech Samurai seems to have given into the theory.
“I don’t want to speak about that fully because it is something that I am humble for. I can’t say this is it because everyone has their own way and nobody is, even me, prepared to say something for somebody [to take it seriously]. I get lost in that [question]. So the thing is, I will not speak about where is the magic, how to use the magic. That [black magic] was the biggest power for my opponent [Pereira] because I was focused for him,” said Prochazka.
Meanwhile, despite his beliefs, Jiri Prochazka is ready to face Alex Pereira a third time. And guess what? Poatan too, seems to be invested in the idea.
Alex Pereira Agrees On Jiri Prochazka Trilogy Fight
Third time’s the charm. That’s perhaps what Jiri Prochazka’s mind is going through. After getting knocked out by Poatan twice, Prochazka now fancies a third fight between the two. Soon after winning against Jamahal Hill, Prochazka called Alex Pereira out for a third matchup.
Agreeing to fight his former foe, Poatan said to Megan Olivi, “Right now I’m fighting Ankalaev. [If] everything goes good, we gonna give Jiri the opportunity.”
Thus, it is evident that the seeds of rivalry have been sown. Now, it remains to be seen how things will pan out in the near future.
