Chiefs superfan nicknamed ‘The Shoe’ is brutally mocked on social media after hilarious video emerges: ‘He’s the sole of their team’
A Kansas City Chiefs superfan nicknamed ‘The Shoe’ has been brutally mocked on social media after a hilarious video emerged of him from Thursday night’s season opener.
During the Arrowhead Stadium clash against the Baltimore Ravens, ‘The Shoe’ can be seen trying to make noise from the nosebleeds of the stadium by banging a shoe on his seat for the evening.
The black sneaker does not appear to be one he wore to the game, as his right foot with a red shoe on it can be seen in the video.
The shoe banging from ‘The Shoe’ is an interesting choice, as the rest of Chiefs fans purely using their voices to distract Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense appear to be making more noise.
After video emerged of the interesting tactic, ‘The Shoe’ was mocked online.

In the crowd, Chiefs superfan ‘The Shoe’ did his best to help the team by making noise
‘He’s the sole of their team,’ one football fan said on X.
‘He’s not even watching the game,’ another user said with a crying emoji.
‘Most reasonable chiefs fan,’ someone else commented.
‘What did the seat ever do to the shoe? Sheesh,’ one fan concluded.
A collection of social media messages mocking ‘The Shoe’ and his attempt to make noise
Maybe the person most annoyed with ‘The Shoe’ is the Ravens fan wearing a Jackson jersey in front of him and sitting down.
The Chiefs did win the game 27-20 after a last-second Baltimore touchdown was called off due to Isaiah Likely’s foot being an inch out of bounds.
‘The Shoe’ was clearly passionate about the Chiefs winning, evidenced by his singular attempt to make noise during the game.
After all, Kansas City is undefeated this season in games where he lives up to his nickname.
