FOX Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw’s latest round of on-air slip-ups has once again been met with a wave of scrutiny from viewers.
Once the closing whistle of the first half sounded in Sunday’s matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers, Bradshaw was tasked with commentating over recaps from the Week 10 early slate of games. It didn’t take long for him to stumble over his words.
While talking over a series of highlights from the Falcons-Saints game, Bradshaw momentarily forgot what city the former team is located in. “Atlanta Falcons at the Saints. Darren Rizzi is the new head coach of the Saints – interim head coach, that is,” he began.
“Derek Carr deep downfield, he finds Marquez Valdes-Scantling on a 40-yard touchdown. 17-7 now. New Orleans on top of Arizona – Atlanta, I’m sorry.”
Moments after, Bradshaw seemingly mixed up the names of Steelers star wide receiver George Pickens, and ex-Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett. “Russell Wilson, quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, completes this pass to George Pickett,” he said. “Here they come from the outside. Beautiful lay it up, lob it up. And what a great effort by George Pickett. A 16-yard touchdown. Steelers strike early, 7-0.”
Later on in the segment, Bradshaw made another noticeable blunder after leaving out a letter in New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr.’s name. “And earlier this morning, Daniel Jones, quarterback for the Giants in Munich, Germany. Giants get the ball in overtime and then their rookie, uh, Tyron Tracy, fumbles,” he added. “Then Eddie Pinheiro takes a 36-yard field goal, it’s good for the win.”
On the heels of the 49ers’ 23-20 win over the Buccaneers, Bradshaw appeared to be caught with his mind elsewhere during the FOX postgame coverage. After Curt Menefee set the stage for him to discuss the Jaguars-Vikings game, the 76-year-old bizarrely repeated the exact same thing that his co-host said while failing to provide any analysis.

“There’s Trevor Lawrence, missing this game with injury. Mac Jones starting for Jacksonville against Minnesota,” Menefee began, prompting Bradshaw to chime in: “Trevor Lawrence is out with an AC joint injury so Mac Jones gets the start here.
As the broadcast hurriedly transitioned to another game, Bradshaw joked, “We’ll see you later Mac.” Menefee added: “Minnesota won that 12-7.”
Taking to social media, droves of NFL fans pleaded for Bradshaw to retire from broadcasting. “Time to get Terry Bradshaw off talking roles,” one X user said, with another adding: “Another quick halftime highlight reel of Terry Bradshaw mumble——- his way through it constantly mispronouncing names and teams.”
A third sarcastically wrote: “Terry Bradshaw is the healthiest 100 year old I’ve ever seen!”
