Diddy’s sons were moments away from a heated physical confrontation with Ray J at a recent Halloween party, but an unexpected peacemaker stepped in just in time.

Sources tell TMZ that Diddy’s three sons—Christian, Quincy, and Justin—got into a tense standoff with Ray J outside influencer Tara Electra’s Unruly Agency Halloween bash in Los Angeles over the weekend.

According to sources, things kicked off in the early morning hours after the party ended. Ray J was heading toward the parking area with his entourage, which included Amber Rose and his manager David Weintraub. That’s when Diddy’s sons approached him, clearly upset over comments Ray J had made publicly about their father, the Bad Boy Records founder, amid Diddy’s ongoing legal issues.

Witnesses report that the situation escalated quickly as the brothers surrounded Ray J, exchanging heated words and chest-thumping. Both Justin and Christian allegedly made it clear they were ready to fight.

However, just before things got out of hand, Chris Brown, who was watching the situation unfold from his car, jumped in to defuse the tension. Teaming up with Ray J’s manager David, Chris managed to pull Justin and Christian away, cooling down the altercation.

Additional bystanders reportedly stepped in to help keep the peace, and no one was injured in the incident.

This showdown wasn’t the first time Diddy’s sons have confronted Ray J about his comments. Sources say the brothers have tried to address their frustrations with him on several previous occasions.

While Ray J has expressed a willingness to talk things out, he’s also reportedly been ready to defend himself when provoked by disrespectful comments.

Despite the friction, sources say Ray J still considers Diddy and his sons to be “like family” and refused to be “intimidated by little kids.”

TMZ has reached out to representatives for Diddy’s sons, Ray J, and Chris Brown for comment, but no response has been received so far.
