McGregor sparked excitement by claiming he could earn $250 million for a fight against Logan Paul in India. This bold statement drew attention, prompting Brendan Schaub to express skepticism. Schaub, on his YouTube podcast ExtraThiccc, doubted the claim, pointing out that even top boxers like Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk don’t make that much in a single fight. In the video Former UFC star said,
“Even if he was the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world, there’s not a UFC fighter on this planet, in the history of that organization that can make $250 million in one night. It will never, ever happen. So even if none of this darkness was going on, let’s say he was 30-0, triple champ, quadruple champ, even if he was that, he still wouldn’t make $250 million [in the UFC].”
Schaub noted that McGregor, fighting a YouTuber and facing allegations, could earn more than top boxers. He emphasized that no UFC fighter could make that much in one night. However, the fight is still unconfirmed, so fans will have to wait to see McGregor’s return.
